Mark Thurnbeck is a Certified Hand Therapist at Fairview Lakes. He Graduated from The Ohio State University in 1996 with a B.S. in occupational therapy. He has been specializing in hand therapy since 1997 and became certified as a hand therapist in 2001. He has attended many hand speciality continuing education courses including the Philadelphia Hand Meeting, and Roy Meals M.D. course for the experienced hand therapist. His areas of interest include post-surgical therapy and trauma. His philosophy of care includes working with the physician, and patient, to develop an optimal treatment plan to meet the needs of the patient and ensures that patients attain their own personal functional goals.

Mark enjoys many activities including boating, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, traveling, and playing guitar.
